Triad Academic Search Completes Retained Search for Assistant Vice President for Principal Gifts and Executive Director of Advancement at the University at Buffalo

Triad Academic Search is pleased to announce the successful completion of its retained search for the Assistant Vice President for Principal Gifts and Executive Director of Advancement, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB). Following a national search process, Jeffry Comanici has been appointed to this important leadership role.
As Assistant Vice President for Principal Gifts and Executive Director of Advancement, Jeffry will lead a comprehensive fundraising program for the Jacobs School, advancing both school-specific and university-wide campaign priorities. Working in close partnership with the Senior Associate Vice President for Advancement, the Dean of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, faculty, physician-scientists, and other university leaders, Jeffry will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding principal gift donors and prospects capable of making transformative contributions of $1 million or more.
In addition to managing a strategic portfolio of high-level donors, Jeffry will oversee and mentor a team of advancement professionals dedicated to securing support for the Jacobs School. He will also collaborate across UB’s colleges and units, contributing to interdisciplinary fundraising priorities and serving as a member of both the Jacobs School senior leadership team and the University Advancement leadership team.
